HCL intros trio of Android 4.0 tablets aimed at Indian classrooms




HCL, previously known for launching those economic, now MiLeaps is always ready to take its low-cost approach for the Tablet market. Today, the Indian outfit announced a trifecta of ICS-packed slates, which are aimed at the education sector. In addition to running the cooler version of Android, these lists of 7-inch (800 x 480) have an unspecified 1 GHz CPU with 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD), as well as full and mini-USB ports. In addition, the K-12 and HE MyEduTabs are being bundled with educational content, including free bonus books and additional SD card on former. The trio is set to hit the shelves later this month in India, with the U1, 7,999 price rupees (about $162), while the K-12 and HE are 11,499 and 9,999, respectively
